Nightingale House fund raising concert

Rhos Male Voice Choir have helped to raise much needed funds for Nightingale House at a concert at Rhostyllen All Saints Church. Rhos Male Voice Choir were joined at the concert by the school choir from Rhostyllen Primary School and by talented Soprano soloist Seren Devismes. The concert – held on June 8th – was a great success, said RMVC musical director James Llewelyn Jones. He said:

“It was a great privilege for the choir to be invited to sing in Rhostyllen with such a talented group of young singers, and such an appreciative audience. We were also thrilled to be joined by Seren Devismes. She is only just 17 but already a very talented and accomplished performer.”

As well as their individual performances the Rhos Male Voice Choir and Rhostyllen Primary School choir joined forces at the end of the concert for a spirited rendition of “Calon Lan”.
