Some sample tracks from our latest CD

Our new CD is certain to give hours of pleasure. Director of Music, Aled Phillips, chose a varied programme for the recording ranging from opera pieces to songs from the shows and ballads - something to suit all tastes. Here are a couple of tracks from the CD.

Eisteddfod, July 2009

Below are two You Tube videos made at the International Eisteddfod in July 2009 at Llangollen, North Wales. Please note: (The videos require a Flash player to be installed on your computer to play).

Our programme on the You Tube videos includes: "Natus Est Rex Israel" by local composer J, Brian Hughes. This piece (sung in Latin) was commissioned a few years ago thanks to a generous donation from the family of the late Desmond Roberts, who was a second tenor in the choir; "Sei Still" a German piece sung in that language, and "Prologo" (Attila)  by Guiseppe Verdi, sung in Italian.
